In Utero - Nirvana
Gar489
on 27/11/08After the massive success of Nevermind, Kurt Cobain's bitterness with fame and fortune is plain to see on In Utero. With a less produced sound than Nevermind, In Utero arguably has far greater depth than Nevermind. -
Jagged Little Pill - Alanis Morissette
Gar489
on 27/11/08Much derided, it would be fair to say Jagged Little Pill hasn't left a hugely enduring mark on the rock landscqape. It's massive success did spawn a number of female singer/songwriter copycats however, and there is certainly no shortage of catchy rock tracks on this album. -

The Bends - Radiohead
Gar489
on 27/11/08Most pick Ok Computer as Radiohead's finest, but as a traditional rock album, The Bends is a masterpiece. With every single track a work of genius, this album is even more extraordinary when you consider it came of the back of their massive hit Creep, and their very average first album Pablo Honey. -
