If you think Wikipedia is too open to vandalism, try Citizendium. Larry Sanger, who co-founded Wikipedia, started Citizendium in an effort to address the 'reliability' flaws in Wikipedia.

Expert moderated encyclopedia. It needs more editors, more attention; but this is the model that Wikipedia should have evolved to.

Apparently Wikipedia has a left wing bias, so Conservapedia was created to be the Fox News of the wiki world. For those that are looking for a right wing conservative Christian view of the world.

The name is slightly misleading. This is a brazen and honest site that is in your face in its analysis and criticism. In short, it's a great quick read and good for a laugh in stressful moments.

MyWikiBiz was created when Wikipedia banned Gregory Kohs for taking payment for writing articles about commercial organisations. MyWikiBiz is one of the least restrictive wikis, and you don't have to be famous or 'notable' to have an article at MyWikiBiz.

The only wiki that allows you to publish just about anything AND to decide whether you want it "open" or "closed" to public editing. Great search engine optimization, too! (They even let you embed your own Google AdSense ads and keep 100% of the revenue.)
